• Learning letter sounds through Upbeat Action Songs.
• In “Phonics with Movements” , children are introduced to phonics through recognizing each letter of the alphabet and then identifying the sound that goes with each letter. They will then use phonics to learn to pronounce words correctly.
• For example, for the word “cat” , the children will not be asked to just say the letters ‘c-a-t ‘ but they will be taught the sounds for the letters ‘c’ , ‘a’ ‘t’ , and thus pronounce ‘cat’
• After the children have learnt the sounds for all the letters of the alphabet, it will be easy for them to pronounce words correctly.
